After attending the dinner party on Geonosis, the group used the evidence gathered on Ryloth to convince Duke D to support them. Duke D agreed to help the party by supporting their travel to Tatooine, as well as promising Teech that he would pay the full amount of his bounty to the party if the party dispatched Teemo. However, Duke D would not remove his guards posted outside the Lucky Guess because he thought it would draw suspicion. The group moved to the hangar, where they encountered a Wookiee, Tong, chained up to be taken to Tatooine as a slave. He was freed, picked up his bowcaster, and joined the group. As the group moved to dispatch the Geonosian guards, they were ambushed by the Gand Vrixx’tt, who they had encountered at the dinner party. Vrixx’tt managed to critically injure Tu’us on the leg, but he was easily dispatched by the newfound Wookiee. The group easily took care of the Geonosian guards, got on the ship, and convinced the previously-bribed Vio siblings to fly them for free under threat of reporting their accepted bribery.
The group landed on Teemo’s landing pad and was transported into the palace in boxes of droid parts. Layla burst out of the box, Tu’us snuck out of the box, and together they dispatched the protocol droid in the receiving room. The entire group sans Teech, who had fallen asleep in the box of parts., then hurried to the gladiator living quarters. During an unsuccessful attempt at a gladiator insurrection by Layla, there were shots fired and Teemo’s favorite gladiator was killed. By Layla.
Of course, the noise prompted a dozen guards into the gladiator chambers. These armed guards escorted the remaining party into the throne room pit. Here, Teemo was nearly ready to throw the party into prison but Zur Bukk was able to convince the Hutt that the party was there to execute a private business deal. The Hutt ushered the rest of his guests out of the throne room, where immediately Layla shot him in the face and blinded him. In a blind fit of rage, the Hutt attempted to shoot the party, and then swung his globiness to engage a switch. This forced the party to manuever over sinking sand in the pit, where Layla and Zur fell down 50 feet into a stone walled pit. Tong and Tu’us were able to grab ahold of the side of the pit as it fell, but then the Kubacz spy shot Tong, knocking him out and forcing him to fall back into the pit. Tu’us was able to throw a stun grenade at the Kubacz, knocking him unconscious. This allowed Tu’us to climb out of the pit, where he then encountered the majordomo holding a pistol to his head. The majordomo gave Tu’us the opportunity to surrender, which Tu’us took as an opportunity to tackle the domo. The domo was able to shoot Tu’us in the temple, mildiy dazing him. Tu’us had a more successful counter assault, running the domo through with his vibrosword.
Still shooting blindly, the doubly crippled Hutt managed to pop Tu’us and knock him unconscious.
He comes to. In the bottom of the pit. He is reunited with his friends, but there is a large shadow lurking behind them…
